Hands-on light vehicle mechanics training in Adelaide CBD and at our Kilburn campus — prepare for automotive retail, service and repair roles.
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a broad range of tasks on a variety of light vehicles in the automotive retail, service and repair industry. Automotive training in Adelaide CBD and Kilburn campus combines workshop practice with an automotive diagnosis pathway toward Certificate IV and Diploma study.
Students are required to undertake 360 hours of supervised field placement. Assessed placement units include AURASA102, AURETR125, AURTTA104, AURTTA118, AURTTB101, AURTTE104, AURTTK102, AURAFA103 and AURTTJ011 (40 hours each).
